Many of the basics to eating healthy are encompassed in MyPlate. MyPlate is a guide published by the USDA that visualizes what a well-rounded diet looks like. Half of the plate should be fruits and vegetables, a quarter should be grains, and another quarter should be protein with diary or dairy alternatives supplemented in as well.
